Ergonomics and design have a decisive influence on the perception of products. Noise-reducing measures are often introduced into the working environment at a later stage.

Good design with a high degree of ergonomics significantly improves the workplace situation. Well-designed noise reduction products increase their acceptance,and the noise reduction is perceived much better. When designing products for noise reduction, we therefore take into account various aspects on an interdisciplinary basis, but essentially:

  • operational requirements in terms of material flow and machine technology.
  • ergonomic and aesthetic requirements with regard to workplace design and optimization of the man-machine system as well as product acceptance of supplementary measures in the area of machines and workplaces.

In neighborhood protection, too, the design of the measure according to aesthetic aspects serves to visualize the positive aspect of noise level reduction and is intended to increase product acceptance by the observer as well as to positively influence subjective perception.
